I'm Mrunmai Patil — M, to most people. I make learning spaces shaped for return: phygital, card-based, community-rooted, built to outlast the electricity. AI sits nearby in all of it; people stay at the centre.

Leap of Faith Labs

Most of the building happens through Leap of Faith Labs (LOFL) — my venture, kept deliberately separate from this page. Its flagship idea is After the Bell: infinite reasons to come back to school and feel like a loved, empowered, growing child again. mrnm.ai and LOFL are separate, but in conversation. The build journal lives at lofl.world.

What I work on

AI literacy for teachers and learners in India's aspirational districts. Last-mile education that treats technology as soil, not rain. Systems that remember people, not just data — institutions with the capacity to hold you close, even lifetimes later.

How I think about it

Fluidity over fixity. Continuity, community, and code — a new literacy we're learning together, human and machine, side by side. The serious and the funny live in the same room, so I build accordingly. A smile should arrive before the reason.

Honestly

I'm sometimes late. I get excited, and it can flood a room or a plan. I sometimes go quiet when I'm deep in something and fail to say so. I'd rather you know this before we start than discover it on day thirty. I hold it with small fixed scopes, milestones in writing, and permission to nudge me — one message gets a straight answer. And nothing on these pages was built alone; the best of it came from rooms full of people.

The register

I work across three registers at once — streaming-era English on the surface, Marathi underfoot, a Sanskrit breath underneath. सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः — may all beings be happy. It's the operating system, not the decoration.
